“Another notable program, The Whitman Freedom Team, recently published a special episode commemorating Black History Month. Tom Evans of the Whitman Freedom Team sat down with jamele adams (name is intentionally lowercase), an educator, advocate, and nationally known poet, to discuss the "L.I.T." philosophy (Love, Inclusion, and Trust) highlighted in adams’ new book, as well as the "Freedom Team" movement. This movement aims to provide a non-partisan framework for towns to handle social harm and marginalization. The episode includes a deep dive into Black History including a reading of adams' poem, History X. The Whitman Freedom Team focuses on promoting love, inclusion, and trust as it works to preserve community freedom.”
